Removing permanent marker stains from the wallpaper

Because the wallpaper is so delicate, you may not be able to remove the permanent marker. Before using any product or method, test it on a hidden part of the wallpaper to see how it reacts and to prevent further damage.

Water and soap: Warm water and a few drops of mild liquid soap or non-abrasive dish detergent should be combined to make a solution. Gently dab the marker stain with a clean cloth dipped in the solution. Rubbing too hard will harm the wallpaper. Then, rinse the cloth with clean water and wipe the area to remove any soap residue.

Wallpaper solvent: There are additional solvents designed specifically for eliminating stains from wallpaper. These can be obtained in specialized interior design stores or at home improvement stores.

Removing permanent marker stains from the leather

Isopropyl alcohol: Dampen a clean, soft cloth with isopropyl alcohol, then gently dab the marker stain with the moist cloth without rubbing hard. Repeat until the stain is entirely removed. After removing the marker, rinse the towel with clean water and wash the leather clean. Allow the leather to dry naturally before using a moisturizer to keep it soft.

Using a clean, soft cloth, apply a tiny amount of cleansing milk. Dab the marker stain gently with a moist towel. Continue until the stain is fully removed, then remove any residue with a clean, moist cloth.

Cleaning solution using mild dish detergent: Combine a little amount of mild dish detergent with warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and gently wipe away the marker stain. Do not over-rub or press too hard. After removing the marker, properly rinse the cloth and clean the leather to remove any residue. Allow the skin to dry naturally before applying moisturizer.

Removing permanent marker stains from glass, ceramic, or plastic

The most straightforward technique is to use only isopropyl alcohol or acetone. As soon as you discover the marker stain, blot it lightly with a cotton pad dipped in alcohol or acetone. To avoid scratching the surface, avoid rubbing too forcefully. Rep the procedure until the discoloration is entirely removed.
