HOW to INSTALL WPC COMPOSITE DECKING TILES

1. Surface Preparation

If you intend to cover a patio concrete surface then you do not need any preparation, as long the concrete surface has no visible cracks. You need only, to sweep thoroughly the area and if it is an uneven surface, you need to use some filler or patching compound to level the surface.

2. Prepare the Tile Design

First, using a measure tape, measure the length and wide of the area to find how many tiles you need.

Use a piece of paper and a pencil and do several sketches with different tile combinations. It is imperative before purchasing them that you have the best option.

3. Install Your Tiles

Start your installation from one corner of the surface and from outer edge toward wall.

You need to place carefully the first tile in the position and then to lock the second one in place. Push down its edge against the edge of the first one. Do not work, placing the tiles in a long row. Connect tiles on all the sides in all directions simultaneously.

Proceed in this way until the entire surface is covered and every tile is secure connected to other tiles.

4. Finish Your Project

Pay attention to the columns, posts, pipes or corners. You need first to measure and then to draw lines on the back of your tile. Using a handsaw or a jigsaw cut your tile along the lines.

Place your cut tiles and secure them with screws.
