No matter the size of the apartment there are several tips for your inspiration when it comes to furnishing and decorating your living space.
1. GET INSPIRATION FROM NATURE
Make use of natural shapes and color schemes. Wood texture or floral themes are timeless and will help to brighten up the room.
2. CHOOSE JUST 3 DOMINANT COLORS IN THE INTERIOR
You simply need three colors to create a multi-colored interior design. A tried-and-true combo is grey (many colors available) + white + black (minimum) + natural wood (2 close tints available). Stick to the two- or three-color guideline when designing an interior for a small flat. Small color components (vases, ornate couches, for example) will also help to keep the space from becoming boring.
3. DON’T GIVE UP BLACK
Here’s a list of things you should never skimp on when it comes to floors, tiles, kitchens, and plumbing. This list is critical because it will be used on a daily basis. If you utilize low-quality materials or plumbing, a trendy flat interior will become a serious inconvenience. Everything else can be repainted or replaced if it hasn’t been stated.
4. CONSIDER SPACES for STORING THINGS
Attempt to conceal as much as possible. What exactly does this mean? Choose built-in domestic appliances, closed shelves, and cabinets to neatly store all necessary objects, creating a sense of cleanliness and harmony.
5. LIGHT, LIGHT AND LIGHT AGAIN
Many people think that white paint will make a room brighter. This isn’t always the case, regrettably. Well-planned lighting is crucial for all flat interiors, no matter how big or little they are. Consider using multi-level lighting, such as ceiling-mounted lights that illuminate certain interior aspects from below, which looks fantastic with 3D wall decorations. The multicolored LED background lights are not necessary. Think about installing a few shut-off switches so you can, for instance, turn off the light without getting out of bed. There aren’t many rosettes, so don’t overlook them.
6. USE MIRRORS TO HELP
Designers continue to advocate for the use of mirrors in the interior, which optically expand the area. And by placing mirrors in front of hanging or table lamps, you will not only employ them as an interior accent, but you will also fill the room with lighter and enliven it. As a result, we recommend that you do not disregard our advice and instead use mirrors functionally.
7. DO NOT OVERLOAD THE INTERIOR
Make sure you’re comfortable at home and that the space isn’t cluttered with unneeded items or furniture. In other words, ensure that the interior does not “burden” you, but rather offers you a sense of lightness.
Many ornamental things, such as placing 1-2 figures, might detract from the overall picture and give the impression of disarray. In most designs, 3-4 fashionable décor components are sufficient to provide beauty and uniqueness to the room.
